NaikMotor – Sejak latihan bebas (FP) hingga kualifikasi (QTT) kelas menengah Grand Prix di Perancis, sepertinya Bagnaia dan Schrotter bertukaran posisi. Akhirnya di QTT Moto2 2018 LeMans, Bagnaia pole position.
Jika di FP1, Pembalap Dynavolt Intact GP Marcel Schrotter memimpin sebagai pembalap tercepat, di FP2 Franceso Bagnaia dari SKY Racing Team VR46 mengambil alih posisi puncak. Tetapi di FP3, Schrotter kembali menguasai Sirkuit Bugatti itu. Schrotter mencatatkan waktu 1 menit 36,748 detik di HJC Helmet Grand Prix de France itu, (19/5/2018).
Namun di QTT Moto2 2018 LeMans, Bagnaia mengambil alih posisi teratas dan pastinya akan start terdepan di Race Moto2. Bagnaia juga mencatatkan rekor baru. Di posisi kedua justru muncul rekan setim Schrotter, Xavi Vierge dan kemudian, pemenang Jerez, Lorenzo Baldassarri. Schrotter sendiri harus puas di posisi ke-4.
Sementara Pembalap dukungan Aspira dan GS Astra, Jorge Navarro berhasil kembali ke posisi 10 besar di FP3. Catatan waktunya, 1 menit 37,228 detik menempatkannya di posisi ke-7. Namun, di kualifikasi Navarro kembali mengalami masalah pada bagian depannya, sehingga akan start dari posisi ke-15. (Afid/nm)
