Brad Binder gagal lolos ke Q2 setelah hanya terpaut 0,055 detik dari Acosta. Marco Bezzecchi menjadi rider Aprilia terbaik di posisi ke-12. Sementara itu, Jack Miller tertinggal di posisi ke-13 setelah insidennya, dan kedua rider Trackhouse juga gagal menembus Q2 akibat kecelakaan.
